Sheer Genius

Before I get into it, let me just clear the air. Yes, I had a heavier coat as well as gloves, and Helen was nice enough to hold them for me while we took pictures. No New Yorker would dare venture out in January prepared for anything less than a tundra. But that doesn't mean that we live every moment of winter bundled up. With sheer fabrics, you can layer, mix and match, and maybe even give winter fashion back some of the sexiness it inevitably loses. Some variation of ripped jeans a black top is perfect for grabbing coffee with a friend and shopping in SoHo, and that's exactly how I spent my day.
