Hey guys! I hope your week is going well. It's been a minute since I did kind of casual, catch-up blog post so I thought now would be a good time to fill you in on what's been going on with me and also sprinkle in some outfit photos so you can see what I've been wearing!

We're in the final weeks of summer and with the end of summer comes the beginning of my absolute favorite season, fall! I always love September because of fashion week, all of the amazing September issues of magazines, and it also happens to be the month I was born #virgoseason. That being said, I'm still trying to check some summer activities off of my list (which reminds me I should really try to make some progress with my NYC bucket list because I've only done 1/5 so far) including hopefully another day at the beach!

This week at NYLON has been flying by which is always nice because we are in the process of putting together our October issue. This is our It Girl issue and I'm super excited to watch this issue come together. The last few issues have really excited me and made me happy to work at a place that has such a unique voice.

One of the big things I wanted to catch you all up on is my 2017 travel goals and where I'm at with that as we approach the end of the year. So far I've made it to Chicago, Nashville and Las Vegas, which have all been so fun! In that blog post I gave six pieces of advice of ways to actually stick to the travel goals that you set and number six "Say yes to any opportunity to travel" is actually how my next two trips got planned.

The first will be a long weekend in Cincinnati which I am so excited for! I've never been before and I'm excited to explore a city in the U.S. with such a cool history (in case you didn't know it was basically built on breweries and actually has many similarities to NYC). This will be a work trip and it'll be cool to brainstorm story ideas in the weeks leading up to it.

The second trip was totally unexpected but I am beyond excited for. I'm going to THAILAND!!! It will be my first time in Asia and I am so excited. I'm going in November with Andrew and we'll be meeting up with two of his friends when we're there so it will be one crazy adventure. If you've ever been and have any recommendations, please let me know! And don't worry Nora and Miranda, I will make my way to London and Paris very very soon and can't wait to have you show me around your cities!
