Turtleneck Shopping Guide

Until about four months ago, the last recorded instance of a turtleneck being anywhere on or near my body was when my mother still dressed me every morning (circa early 2000’s). This isn’t to say I had anything against turtlenecks really (except for the fact that my body temperature is often unusually high) they kind of just weren’t a thing. Cue fall 2017 and suddenly it was turtleneck pandamonium. Everywhere, everywhere, I looked there they were—on the pages of magazines, in store windows, on stylish Soho-ers and in every blog post and YouTube video that I stumbled across. At the time I’m writing this I currently own four mock neck tops, one mock neck dress and two proper turtleneck sweaters. Oh, and I’m majorly craving more. So, here are some of my current favorite styles of this delightfully cozy silhouette like this one from Urban Outfitters and this open-back one from Nasty Gal.
