sneak attack

You know how sometimes the best outfits come more from circumstance and less from planning? As usual I didn't check the weather (read: look out my window) before planning an outfit to wear to Poughkeepsie, NY on Friday and of course there was a downpour as soon as I stepped outside. It didn't put too much a damper on my plans but it meant that my crazy awesome lace-up heels that I've worn so much they are falling apart were not gonna kick it in the rain. So I stuck with the sneakers that I had worn while running around that morning and felt very blogger-y.
