One Dress, Three Ways Transitioning From Summer To Fall

When I got this dress I knew it was going to be something I'll wear until it falls apart and become an integral part of my fall wardrobe. The weather right now is in a period of flux and there's no way to tell how the next six weeks are going to play out. So, I put together three different ways to wear the same look to take you from the end of summer all through fall. Here's the dress:

LATE SUMMER

I love holding on to summer vibes even as the temperatures drop. By tying the dress in a knot, it makes it more like a tunic and perfect to wear over a pair of ripped jeans. Throw in some shades and a pair of platform sandals and you've got the perfect pre-fall outfit.

EARLY FALL

Since the dress is such a standout on its own, I threw on a tiny multi-layer necklace. The knee socks are a great way to add a bit of warmth without wearing a jacket and I threw on a pair of comfy ankle boots.

LATE FALL

Have I mentioned yet that this dress is perfect for layering? Clearly I have an obsession. I threw a black long sleeve shirt underneath, black boots with ankle socks, and topped it off with a floppy hat.
