brooklyn baby

The post title is fitting for two reasons. The first is because I got to spend a lovely afternoon with my suite mates, Céline and Sania, exploring Bushwick. We sat in a little garden and painted rocks (and spoons and other things), visited galleries and wandered in and out of the maze of graffiti-coated walls that seemed to line every single street. Of course, the ultimate mission was to find graffiti that had the same vibe as the pattern on my dress (#keepcalmprobs) so imagine my happiness when we stumbled upon this perfect black and white door. Reason number two is that I got to catch the final act of Governor's Ball 2015 and watch the queen herself, Lana Del Rey, perform in New York for the first time in about three years. She performed this song ~Brooklyn Baby~ that is, and I died. I totally died. Basically, it was an absolutely awesome day and I am happy to report that so far summer has been nothing but a series of awesome days.
