What To Wear To a Socially Distant Picnic

IMG_4826.JPG

New York City entered phase 2 of reopening this week and with that I’m sure many of you are excited to spend more time outside of your apartment.

Of course, the pandemic isn’t over just because stores reopen and it’s important to continue to practice social distancing when you leave your house.

If you are attending a socially distant party in the near future, chances are it will be outside.

And finally, we can start talking about one of my favorite things again—fashion!

Since for the most part it seemed like everyone was living in sweats from March to May, June to me signals the return of asking ourselves “what should I wear today?” This is a very happy thing for someone (me) who never understood the sweatpants hype and who doesn’t really feel complete until they’re up and dressed.

It seems like the most common way to start reuniting with your friends and loved ones is to have a picnic outside in a park! If you find yourself wondering what to wear to your socially distanced picnic, look no further.

Here are five fool-proof outfits that will make you feel like a Real Human when you’re up and out and I’m also sharing some of the best picnic dresses that you can buy if you scroll down in this post.

Stay safe, wear a mask, and maintain your distance.

Mid-length, printed dress

Mini dress with denim jacket

Floral jumpsuit

Light wash jeans and plain tee

Vintage maxi dress

  1. I just found you on Youtube and I must say you just made me feel more comfy using video, I know they always say when you start a blog to focus on 1 platform so my choice is Pinterest. However, I never thought to just do a video instead of pictures on my blog. Genius! I want my blog to focus on fashion, and I know what sometimes a still picture doesn’t always show the outfit if you know what I mean. I’m starting my blog next and I also live in NYC! Thank you again!
