spring fever

I canโ€™t even begin to describe the level of spring fever I get every year. I sit next to windows in classrooms and make pretty much any excuse to go outside.

And of course I love packing up heavy winter coats to make way for breezier pieces.

One of the best parts about fashion in my eyes is that you can throw together unexpected pairs of things and they can still look balanced. In this case I love the idea of a barely-there top with a gigantic statement necklace.

Spring is the perfect time to break out bralettes that can be seen just around the edges, and bonus points for matching colors.

A pretty standard ankle boot in a non-so-standard color is the perfect way to finish off the look.

    1. Thanks Kathryn! Yeah, as someone who usually opts for black this is a fun alternative to have ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. I love the bomber you paired with this outfit. I’ve been rocking my leather coat since its nice during the day but the temperature drops at night. Those boots are also AWESOME!!!

  2. In love with that leather jacket! I always try to convince myself that I only need ONE classic black leather jacket, and then end up seeing something that I love (like yours!) and convince myself I may need 4 or 5, haha.

    1. Omg tell me about it. Because sometimes you want it cropped or quilted or whatever it is! I’ve had a few good (cheap) ones from H&M too!
