home for the holidays

I hope you have all been enjoying the holidays and have been enjoying some much deserved down time! I have to admit that as much as I love the time off, I definitely get thrown off from my normal routine. Some days I wake up in the morning and feel totally overwhelmed at the thought of choosing an outfit. When in doubt, I'm always in favor of those classic pieces that you turn to again and again. Cozy, neutral and dependable are all words that speak to me during the holidays, especially when I'm back home. I love this modern take on a plain black top paired with a plaid mini.
